concerts bio listen press cd lyrics discograpy photo When a lesbian poet meet a lesbian singer… Tribad is a band born in 1999 in Paris. The band has been created by Natasha, lead singer composer and saxophonist of the famous french female acid jazz, hip- hop band ZARMAZONES and Ana Cuenca Italian poet and guitarist, writer of the book « DIURNE NOTTURNE », edited by the italian lesbian publisher Lesbacce Incolte. After different poetical and musical performances in Paris, they make their first concert in Roma for the world Pride of 2000. In September 2002 they played for the International Women's music festival Le SUONATE in Venezia and in January 2003 in Firenze for the Arci Gay and Lesbian Organization in the auditorium FLOG. They have one track: " Vengeance" for the Lesbian and women music compilation « REBELLESOUND#1 » , produced by La Barbare in 2002. During the summer 2003 they record their first CD in their home studio. Their CD is a success and in 2004 they play in London, Berlin, Bern, Wien… Since the end of 2003 they are playing with the great bass player Eilathann. Mix of électro and love songs, contaminated by différents styles: house / reggae/ hip hop. Their French, English, Italian words come from and go back to the continent where women breack their chains and call up for rebellion.
